ℹ️ Practical

From the airport, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing service to Tahrir Square, which should cost around EGP 100-150 (depending on traffic), taking about 45 minutes. Plan your trip so that you arrive at the Egyptian Museum early in your window and leave Khan el-Khalili Bazaar with plenty of time before your flight departure.

Key timing tip: Opt for a late morning arrival if possible, as museums are less crowded then and temperatures are more tolerable than during peak hours.
